Christmas Report

Winter spring fishing has been great fish from 8 to 14 lbs have been taken regularly right in Pedder Bay. The favorite spot being the can buoy.   Whril Bay has also produced some fish but why run over perfectly good fishing if you don't have to?

Try fishing with small fast moving gear when fishing for the aggressive winter springs. The fish seem to love the UV products that are out on the market such as the Purple Haze and Electric Wheelchair squirts. Also try glow in the dark spoons and flashers like the Night Rider Coyote spoon and the Boogeyman Flasher.

back at the Marina we are going to be upgrading our facility even more in the New Year. A maintenance dredging program will commence on the 3rd of January and continue until the middle of February. There may be some service interruptions with the boat launch during this time we apologize in advance for the disruptions. At this point the work will only be done during weekdays. Weather delays etc may force us to work weekends on this project.
